Winning a $50,000 Mustang was an exciting moment for Jacinda Verner, the winner of our Win a You Beaut Mustang Convertible competition.
Jacinda was so excited with her news she was a little confused about the initial call. Jacinda says, "Paul Michael, CEO of Weathertex, left a message on my phone that said "I’m at the mustang showroom, and guess what? You’ve won! Congratulations." It’s at that point that I thought, "I wonder what voucher for a slimming product or photo session I’ve won today?" Even after I rang back and Paul said "You’ve just won a Mustang" I thought "Wow that’s great. My kids love matchbox cars". It took the next five minutes for Paul to convince me that I had actually won a car. And it got better! A Weathertex representative rang back the next day to tell me they were flying me to Sydney to meet Tom Williams for a photo shoot."
On Thursday 17th December, Jacinda was treated to a day in Sydney which she had never visited before. A quick tour of the city, lunch and a harbour cruise and a presentation of her Mustang by Weathertex Ambassador and Channel 7 Celebrity, Tom Williams was a day never to forget for the bubbly, humble girl from Ingham.
